Video Scope International, Ltd. (VSI) makes both intensified cameras and image intensifier assemblies for low light level imaging applications. The choice between the two is typically based on the customer’s existing set-up and preference of camera selection. Technically, a lens-coupled intensifier and a fiber-optically coupled intensified camera both offer a distortion free (no fixed pattern noise) output. We select our relay lenses and fiber optics very carefully to assure the best transimission efficiency and least image defects in the final product.
